WHAT IS THE WYMAN’S WEEKEND?

This is an amazing 2 day class that concentrates on delivering everything from 1 liners, smaller scenes, improv auditions and more complicated audition scenes for that
ALL-IMPORTANT Film or Television Audition!!!

Lori Wyman is repeatedly asked to teach actors the ins and outs of auditioning for film and television. It started while she was casting the television series “Miami Vice” and continues today.
This very popular Zoom Class has grown from her vast knowledge and these continuing requests.
The 1 evening and 2 day on-camera weekend workshop began in 1988 and is now taught to actors all over the country. Actually, all over the world with the technology of Zoom.
The classes are kept small to ensure lots of camera time per person. The participants receive individual critiques, as well as the ability to watch their fellow classmates.
This interactive observation is priceless!
Everyone discovers what works and what doesn’t for an audition.
How does it work?
Everyone is given “sides” to work on on their own time at home, as well as, several cold readings during actual class time. You will submit self tapes and upload them via Eco-cast invitations to your Actor’s Access profile. THIS is how it is done for all of your Film and Television auditions, so you MUST be good at it.
Time and time again, participants call after taking this class to tell us that they have used the techniques taught in the class. Sometimes it is even years later, because they work!
They are steadily booking those roles that previously were elusive.
Lori also sprinkles in lots of motivational anecdotes and stories. She continually keeps the actors in a positive frame of mind. She has discovered that this positive approach helps when they go out into the auditioning arena, because now they have only amazing thoughts and confidence of being able to conquer the world.

Who else is this workshop for?
This workshop is for almost anyone interested in acting. It has been proven very beneficial to stage actors who want to learn the nuances that will help them cross over into film and television. It is also for actors who have been working for years and need that extra spark that has a tendency to dwindle in time.
This workshop is held all on ZOOM.
